Privacy
MachineReach scans public URLs supplied by users. Reports store the public evidence needed to explain findings, scan timing, standards versions, and bounded AI-evaluation metadata.
Public scans
Do not submit private, authenticated, or secret-bearing URLs. The scanner does not forward browser cookies or user-supplied authorization headers. Reports use opaque identifiers, are unlisted, and include noindex instructions.
AI evaluation
When enabled, a compact evidence bundle—not an unrestricted website dump—is sent to the configured provider. Deployment operators control provider and retention choices.
Monitoring alerts
If you ask MachineReach to monitor a hostname, we store that hostname, the alert email, and the chosen cadence so we can rescan public evidence and email only when verification degrades, cannot be refreshed, or later recovers. Use the manage link in those emails to stop monitoring.
Site analytics
MachineReach may use privacy-oriented web analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to understand aggregate page traffic such as homepage and report views. These tools are configured to avoid advertising cookies and cross-site tracking where possible. Analytics is optional and controlled by deployment configuration.
Outreach links
Some outreach emails use short redirect links (for example /go/…). When those links are requested, MachineReach may log the campaign identifier, timestamp, destination report, user-agent, and referrer so we can tell whether a specific recipient opened a report. IP addresses, when present, are stored only as a short hash. No advertising cookies are set for this logging. Hashed IP, user-agent, and referrer fields are retained for at most 30 days; the funnel event itself (which campaign was clicked) is retained for at most 180 days, then deleted.
